Warlock of Firetop Mountain; I cannot believe that I had this as a first edition and never kept it; nostalgia is very much wasted on the youth. This was for me my first exposure to a role playing game. The original choose your own adventure which I played whilst recovering in hospital. A narrative, a character sheet, some dice, and choices, the outcomes and starting over whilst learning to save my place in the book.

It's no small thing to say this game helped me through some very tedious moments in my teenage life. More than 40 years later and this book is still very much cherished in memory and experiences.
